Jerry’s Story

I had given some thought to go into one of these 55 places or 55 plus places, and of course, I was living in Phoenix, Arizona, at the time, which ain’t next door, and but I have a brother who lives here. And so I called him up and I looked on the internet to see what I could find and I found this place among others, and thought well, that looks kind of cool. So I asked my brother to come cruisin’ over, and he called one of the gals at the front desk and asked if he could come over. Of course, she says sure, she’d be glad to show him around. And he said, quite frankly, Scarlett, he liked the floorplan of the apartments better and that was his recommendation. And so I looked at his pictures and said suits me, so I called back the next day and said reserve me one, and the rest, as they say, is history. Here I am.

Chapter Two: Move In Specialist

I got pretty involved with Karen Hayes, the Move-In Specialist, she’s unbelievable. I didn’t have any furniture, nothin’ and so she’s starting from scratch and we’re plotting the stuff out and I’m telling her what I want and yada yada yada. And she came up with a plan and she started searching and so far we’ve gotten everything except a desk, she’s still working on that but she’ll find it!
