Roots N Blues N BBQ Race

The Roots N Blues N BBQ Race provides a unique experience for runners this year. Beginning at Stephen’s Lake Park runners will journey through Columbia’s downtown streets, landscaped collage campuses and beautiful local trail while listening to amazing live music along the way. The Half Marathon begins bright and early at 7:00 am followed by a 10K, beginning at 7:30 am. After the race participants will replenish their bodies with delicious and complimentary BBQ and beer. Live music will continue to entertain runners until the main stages begin again.

So tie up your running shoes and come out to support a good cause, all proceeds go to The Roots N Blues N BBQ Foundation, a non-profit organization with the goal to “positively impact the lives of children by celebrating the rich cultural heritage of American music through local educational programs” (Foundation’s website).
