Resident Spotlight: Leading Life with Alzheimer’s

Pat Etienne, resident at The Village of Bedford Walk, was recently featured in an article by the Columbia Missourian for how she confidently lives her life while having Alzheimer’s.
Pat was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s seven years ago, and ever since, has been determined to live a full, determined life despite her diagnosis. Not only does Pat lead a very active social life at The Village of Bedford Walk, but she also uses her vigor to volunteer. She actively advocates for funding and research for the Alzheimer’s Association, as well as volunteering for the Greater Foundation of Women’s Clubs, the League of Women Voters and the Columbia Newcomers Club
We are continually inspired and impressed with Pat and are so lucky to have her in our family at The Village of Bedford Walk!
