Pie in the Sky

Pie makes people happy. Of course, cake does too, but there is just something so beautiful about a pie. Flaky homemade crusts and delicious fruits and chocolates that melt in your mouth bring a joy like no other. Columbia can boast that they have a local, one of a kind, original Pie Bakery; Peggy Jean’s Pies^[i]. This amazing place is located on the south side of Columbia at 3601 Buttonwood Drive. They specialize in making this community happy by providing us with something uniquely ours and sweet to boot! They offer eleven different fruit pies, seven cream, two nut, fourteen specialty, and two savory pies.

The Village of Bedford Walk loves this local favorite so much that all the residents living with us will receive a personal pie for their birthday. Stop by The Village of Bedford Walk Holiday Festival and meet the mother/daughter duo behind this sensation; Jean and Rebecca.  You can order your Thanksgiving pie or take something home that day.
