Founders Club

Life at the Village of Bedford Walk is beginning to get very exciting. Future residents have begun to sign applications and choose their homes. As a way to recognize our first twenty- five residents we have created The Founders Club.  These individuals will receive $2,000 worth of amenities, upgrades or services. In addition, we will give every founding member a free year membership to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a plush custom embroidered robe, a branded coffee mug, and their name engraved on a commemorative plaque.

There is precious little that we value more than a high quality of life and aging successfully. Keeping our minds and bodies active is the key to finding both of these. Osher classes run year round and there is something for everyone.  Of special interest this summer is  the Extramural Travel Club that  meets every second Wednesday at 2:00. The Travel Club is an open forum and agenda for sharing travel tips, tales, opportunities, photos, destinations and deals. They offer presentations on extended living in a foreign country, purchasing the right camera and the merits of traveling alone or in a group.  Another excellent opportunity offered by Osher is the Day Trips. Often these are to St. Louis or Kansas City for special events or museum touring.   If quietly reading a book is more to your liking, then the Saturday Morning Book Talks at 10:00 may be just for you. Pastries and coffee are served and the books change every few weeks.
