Cocktails and Conversation with The Bank of Missouri
On Wednesday, November 16, The Bank of Missouri visited The Village of Bedford Walk for an evening of cocktails and conversations about planning for a successful retirement.
At the event, representatives from The Bank of Missouri taught residents how to be smart with their money and gave them information about how to set up trusts for their families. Additionally, the residents learned how to keep their accounts safe against fraud and theft as technology changes. The Bank of Missouri emphasized Internet safety and suggested residents put passcodes on their phones, log out of websites and engage two-step verification when possible on their email accounts.
The residents were very appreciative for all of the advice and spent over 30 minutes asking questions after the presentation. One of The Village of Bedford Walk residents, who is already a client at The Bank of Missouri, was even able to introduce residents to the bank representatives.
Beverages and food at the event were provided by Room 38 Restaurant & Lounge.
