Music and Delicious BBQ
Hopefully you will take a little time out of your hectic schedule this weekend to wander down to the Roots and Blues and BBQ Festival in Stephens Lake Park. You can ride your bike over and park it for free, meander through the craft vendors and discover delicious local and regional BBQ. The Festival features over 30 artists, representing the genres of roots, blues, gospel, country, folk, bluegrass, rock and soul.
If you are more inclined to make your own Missouri BBQ try this Missouri Style Barbeque Sauce by local gal Sue A. Mertens Minick. They typical style of barbeques sauce is a two-step basting process where you baste the meat then you add the sauce at the end.
