Lunch and Learn with Us
A lunch and learn by definition is a program that lasts 30-45 minutes and is a training or presentation session facilitated by an organization to employees or members of the community during a lunch hour. However, at The Village of Bedford Walk we view them as a great way to enjoy the company of individuals living in the Columbia community while affording the opportunity to learn something of interest.
At 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October, 28, 2015 we will be hosting a lunch and learn titled To Move or not to Move with special information provided by Lezlee Leonard, Gerontologist and Karen Hayes, Move in Specialist. Lezlee and Karen will provide tips to knowing when it is time to make the move, how to find a community that best fits your needs and easy steps to downsizing. Don’t let the overwhelming idea of a move keep you from making a great life decision. Lunch will be provided by Chef Ben Hammrah of Peach Tree Catering. Please RSVP to Ashley at (573) 303 -7252 or to ask any additional questions. We look forward to meeting you and learning together.
