A Little More About Emma Jane Culver

Jane Culver is a Columbia, Missouri local who was looking for a resort-like living experience and that is what led her to The Village of Bedford Walk. She loves the maintenance free lifestyle and atmosphere of the 55+ community. Jane has a background in building, so the crown molding, 10 foot ceilings and high cabinets of her two-bedroom apartment exceeded her expectations. Now that she is at The Village of Bedford Walk, Jane takes advantage of the many opportunities to stay active. She fills her days with fitness classes, shopping trips with new friends and group outings on the shuttle.

Everything is at your fingertip. You don’t have to get out and drive or anything. They bend over backwards trying anything for the residents of Bedford Walk.

Chapter 2: Fit and Fabulous

I like to travel at least a couple of times a year. We have friends and we go to Cozumel at least once a year, and then just we like to do maybe trips to California, you know like to the Napa Valley. You may stay here local, and we’ll go to Branson, St. Louis area and pick up on the theater.

Chapter 3: Oh the Place’s You’ll Go

I try to stay fit, and they have a weekly fitness program now. It’s just working out ideal for me. Then I don’t have to go to the gym.

Bonus: I’m Moving In

I found The Village of Bedford Walk because I got a card in the mail for the Open House on the villas, but I had a beautiful villa and I went and looked and I thought why would I, you know this was paid for, why would I move from that to over here and rent? And then another open house came when the apartment opened. I went over, walked in and the staff, they were young and energetic, showed me three or four of the apartments. I was ecstatic. I went home, talked to my son Zach and I said I’m moving in.
